Very relaxing. Leyte is "the back of beyond" so you need a reason to go there, but if you have, this place is a little oasis. A bit out of Hilongos town, though walkable, it is run by a German and his local wife, who is very friendly and capable (she bought my ferry ticket to Cebu, for example). So it is efficiently run - not usual for the Phils - and the food is good. I saw a few other hotels on the island and this was the pick of the bunch.

Absolutely superb. after searching other hotels in the area this hotel is by far the best & there is no compareson
